With the decline of Twitter—mass firing of employees, increased user harassment, disbanding of the Trust & Safety Council, banning of journalists—I decided to start a SUBSTACK newsletter in to keep people updated on my academic, journalistic, and occasional informal writing.
Welcome to The Klonickles.
In the Great TBD (Twitter Base Disruption) it is still Very Much TBD (To Be Determined) what the content of this newsletter will be. But I can almost certainly promise the following:
My thoughts on online speech governance, law and technology, content moderation, free speech, and social media.
Occasional crazy animal stories.
Professional updates and links to my writing in other places.
Publication as needed, but rarely more than once a week.
Typos.
